Some days ago I watched a video about a Robot called Sophia. She became famous after saying that She wants to destroy humans. It could sound like a joke, but everybody knows that humans have the instinct of self-destruction and it is probably that robot will just accelerate our unavoidable extinction. Is such a threat real or it is just our imagination caused by science fiction Hollywood movies?
Artificial intelligence does not appear out of anything
In order to answer that question, it is important to understand that robots with self-awaraness are a human creation. A robot with such thinking was made by men. Yes, unfortunately, robotics is an area predominantly male. So the fact that such creation has a female form says a lot: she was created in the image and necessity of a man.
Don’t forget that violence, greed, ambition and other destructive feelings are a very important part of man’s essence. Robots are mostly developed by male gender. That explains why their creations have the willingness to kill and destroy us.
What may happen if women take by assault robotics?
If robotics continue its evolution, surely we will see a very different world in a few decades. However, to avoid the implementation of the Sophie’s wish, women should take part in the production of robots. Women are not killers by nature. Women give life and that is the main point that confirms that they could change our destiny and save us of robotic apocalypse with robots conquering our world with us fighting against them like in the best science fiction movies.
